OUR STORY
Primeco Jewelry grew from a background in international mining and raw-material sourcing. Through longstanding relationships with mining and material sources across South America, Asia, Africa, and other gemstone-producing regions, our network gave us direct exposure to mineral resources and gemstone materials around the world.

Today, that model allows us to serve B2B buyers with more than a fixed product catalog. Customers can come to us with a material, design, size, finish, or production requirement, and our team can use our sourcing and manufacturing network to develop a solution around their needs.
Rather than relying entirely on third-party production, we chose to build our own manufacturing capability in Shanwei. By combining our international sourcing network with direct production, PrimeCo can work more closely with customers on material selection, specifications, quality, and custom requirements.
In 2024, that background led us to China to explore how those sourcing relationships could be connected directly with gemstone manufacturing. We established ourselves in Ketang, Shanwei—one of the world’s major gemstone processing centers—and immersed ourselves in the local industry, learning the production process firsthand before building our own manufacturing operation.

HASSAN IQBAL
Founder & Managing Director
Born and raised in the United States, Hassan came to China in 2024 to explore opportunities in the gemstone industry. He spent time working alongside manufacturers in Shanwei to understand gemstone production firsthand before helping establish PrimeCo Jewelry’s own manufacturing operation. Today, he leads PrimeCo’s operations in China, working closely with the local team and international buyers to turn material requirements and custom specifications into finished production.
MUNAWAR IQBAL
Strategic Advisor & Global Sourcing
With decades of experience in international mining and mineral sourcing, Munawar brings an established network of relationships across major material-producing regions to Primeco Jewelry. He supports the company by identifying sourcing opportunities, connecting the team with trusted suppliers and mining contacts, and helping evaluate new materials. His experience and network provide Primeco with access to gemstone and mineral sources beyond the local Chinese market.
IMRAN RAZZAK
Sales & Sourcing Coordinator
Imran focuses on expanding Primeco’s presence in the U.S. market and developing relationships with wholesale buyers. With a strong background in sales and customer relations, he works closely with clients to understand their needs and connect them with the right materials and production solutions. He also supports international sourcing and procurement, working directly with PrimeCo’s network when materials need to be evaluated or secured at the source.
Gemstone Manufacturing Specialist
With more than 10 years of experience in the gemstone industry, Chen Yifan brings deep knowledge of gemstone materials, production, and the Shanwei market to PrimeCo. He works closely with our team on material selection, production coordination, and quality control, while using his local experience and industry relationships to help ensure each project moves smoothly from material to finished product
